Dr. Vo grew up around animals, large and small, in Switzerland and New England. After getting her major in biology, minor in Greek archaeology, and medical degree from Tufts University, she completed an internship in equine medicine before venturing into general and emergency clinical practice. She merged her interests, influences and compulsions into a diverse career as an equine and companion animal clinician, anatomy professor, archaeological faunal remains specialist, rodeo vet, racetrack regulatory representative, content editor and optimization consultant.
Her clinical passions are pain management, zoonoses, adventure pets, old dogs, and angry cats. Her obsessions are solutions and collaborative organization. When she's not working, she can usually be found outside, preferably with good friends and she includes at least one of these as part of her daily 10 Essentials: mountain bike, snacks, dog/cat/ horse. She is thankful for the development of dexmedetomidine, electronic medical records, Gore-Tex, helmets , and kind airport baggage handlers. |
